Revised the LA DOTD Testing Procedure manual to incorporate nationally accepted testing practices

Created and updated charts and spreadsheets for LADOTD  Intranet

Successfully encumbered $400 million annually of Federal funds toward State projects

As Executive Director of Concrete & Aggregates Association of Louisiana, Mr. Cormier directed the overall operation, budgets and capital assets of the organization, including management of all staff and volunteers

 Under contract with LCS, he monitored and reported progress and documented work performed in Grand, Isle, Louisiana for the Corps of Engineers project to rebuild levees along the beach

Mr. Cormier is currently working for GOTECH on the Construction Inspection Support Annual Contract–SSO Program Inspection in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana as Construction Inspector Manager. Mr. Cormier provides quality assurance services and manages approximately 30 field construction inspectors. The inspectors are on-site at construction projects such as construction or rehabilitation projects on pump stations, sewer, force mains and wastewater plant facilities. Mr. Cormier represented GOTECH as a Quality Control Technician Manager for the I-12 Widening Design/Build project. Mr. Cormier has over 36 years of experience as an Engineering Materials Manager for LADOTD, Federal Aid Manager (LADOTD) and Executive Director with Concrete & Aggregates Association of Louisiana.
